I believe the evil presence of corruption prevents freedom in the lives of a nation and that corruption is the main cause of poverty, mostly moral, political, and economic corruption.
In the United States, both political parties, Democrats and Republicans, share the same amount of corruption if in different forms. It is a human trait, since corruption exist in churches, nonprofit organizations, sports, even in the Boy Scouts, and in every human endeavor. Most corruption is about money, but not alone. Power, sex, and envy follow closely and are interconnected.
You even find exceedingly wealthy politicians, who were not rich when they started their political career. They go about claiming the evil of the ‘rich getting richer’ when that is what they are doing themselves. I have learned that it’s easier to control the masses than the individuals. (Thus the emphasis on the ‘collective’.) So have others. I can tell when certain organizers are your enemies by the way they surreptitiously promote corruption or the corrupted. Here is where some of them will be coming from as organizers, using their own fake language of unity and diversity. They will do anything possible to remove self-determination from people’s individual consciousness in exchange for collective mentality. They will directly and indirectly work to destroy unity, especially family unity, undermining strong cultural traits, dividing whites, blacks and browns against each other while pretending to be genuinely concerned for them, and instead creating animosity between them. They entice anger and hostility between the rich and the poor, using the ‘us’ versus ‘them’, where they select who are the good and bad guys within the ‘us’ and the ‘them’. At the same time, they promote diversity to weaken the strong, not to increase individual strength or promote valuable unity. Surprisingly, indirectly they will encourage and support violence by claiming that it is acceptable to express been ‘offended’.
They deceive people into believing as a group that they are ‘victims’ and they aim to re-define our perceived understanding of ‘success’ and ‘failure’ causing you to think they are synonymous with injustice by making both success and failure repugnant. By demoting their importance, they will endorse a culture without free choice, without competition, without history, and without excellence, so that ‘the leaders’ can claim without evidence that everyone, as a collective unit, must feel vindicated and ready to be their version of ‘free’. If you are successful, they’ll make you a bigot. If you are a failure, they’ll make you the hero for being the victim of society’s ills, and the object of racism. They will repress individualism, but the individually “offended” takes precedence over all others if it enhances their idea of controlling the “collective”. Figure that out: how they can get away with it? Rest assured, mistakes is somebody else’s fault. It is always someone else’s fault!

This is the enemy from within.
Instead, I propose the value of sharing the power. Sharing self-determination, sharing freedom, equity, differences, equality, valuable inequality, and impartiality when appropriate, sharing the right to be different and to excel. Let’s support raising to the top and bringing others along on the journey. These are American values! This is what makes America extraordinary! This mindset has elevated millions out of poverty worldwide. This is a global goal. At the same time, we also have the individual freedom to choose to stay content just as we are, or would like to be, responsibly, if we so want, but not to relinquish individual freedom. Which of the following two do you think will better serve the Barrio, you, and yours? 1) to complain of xenophobia like blabbering idiots going nowhere, or 2) to reach for individual self-sufficiency for all?
